They are CNC machined with material distributed artfully along critical load paths, making the reels stable and strong and so light you might forget they are there, but they are  beautiful enough to make you remember they are. The chassis is based on the conical system found in Lamson’s other reels with the addition of a click stop drag knob and a unique spring set that creates a linear progression of torque with very fine resolution at the light end of its range.
