Booby Fly

The Booby Fly is a foam-headed attractor that sits in the surface film. The buoyant head keeps the body riding high and creates a small disturbance when pulled, drawing fish up from below. Fish it on a slow, twitching retrieve or let it sit in the film when trout are working the surface. It is also a very effective fly when fished on an intermediate or sinking line, as the fly will continue to rise, and add movement when the fishing gets tough.
