The 1290-4 is the big-game choice when giant trevally are cruising the flats or hunting bait off the coast, driving large flies into strong wind with an ultra-fast action. The 1583-4 is an 8-foot 3-inch, 15-weight powerhouse built to tame the largest fish you will target on a fly. It has already accounted for tarpon over 200 lb, including a 276 lb fish landed in Costa Rica by Dean Riphagen, and for South Africans it is the ideal yellowfin tuna rod.
