Description
Description
Senyo Taddy is a tadpole imitation tied in Greg Senyo's synthetic style — the same approach used in the Senyo Minnow applied to one of South Africa's most productive stillwater food sources. The African Platana frog (Xenopus laevis) breeds prolifically throughout the country's dams and water systems, and its tadpoles are available to trout in large numbers for much of the year. The Taddy's bulky marabou body and tapering tail give it the right profile and movement, while barred rubber legs add secondary triggers on the pause. Tied on a #2 hook, it is best fished on a slow retrieve or static on a sinking line near the bottom where tadpoles are most concentrated.
