Tiemco TMC 101 Hooks

Tiemco TMC 101 Hooks are a straight-eye dry fly hook sharing the same proven proportions as the iconic TMC 100 — wider gape, fine forged wire and chemically sharpened Japanese steel — but with a straight eye preferred by many experienced dry fly tyers. The straight eye allows certain dressings to sit more level and can make thread heads neater on classic and no-hackle patterns.

For tying Adams, Comparaduns, Sparkle Duns and other precise dry fly patterns for selective trout and yellowfish, the straight eye of the TMC 101 gives a slightly cleaner finish and a more balanced hook-hang in the surface film.
