White Death

The White Death is a lightweight white marabou fly designed to fish where a weighted fly cannot — just below the surface, on a slow sink through the upper water column, or suspended under a floating line with nothing more than current and retrieve to animate it. Without a bead or added weight, every aspect of the fly's movement comes from the materials alone: a full white marabou tail and collar that breathes and collapses with every pause, and a slim holographic body that glints and shifts in the available light. The result is a baitfish imitation with a completely natural, unforced action — the kind of movement that weighted flies, however well tied, can never quite replicate. Particularly effective during fry-feeding sessions or whenever trout are working close to the surface, and an excellent option for fishing over shallow structure where a bead-head would constantly snag.
